Terms of Service
Last updated: September 19, 2026
Agreement
These terms govern your use of Med Assist, a practice-management platform at prescribe.med.com.bd for doctors and their assistants in Bangladesh. By creating an account, you agree to them.
Who can use Med Assist
A doctor account requires a valid BM&DC registration number entered at signup. Verification, reviewing your registration certificate, selfie, and NID, is a manual review by our team, and isn’t required to start using the platform, but is required before certain features (marked as such) become available. An assistant account is created by invitation from a doctor and only exists attached to that doctor’s practice.
Your responsibilities
- The clinical content you enter, diagnoses, medicines, advice, is your professional judgment; Med Assist does not practice medicine or review prescription content
- You’re responsible for what your assistants do with the access you grant them
- You won’t use patient contact information (phone numbers, SMS) for anything other than that patient’s own care
- You’ll keep your login credentials and BM&DC details accurate and confidential
Plans and limits
Med Assist offers Free, Pro, and Enterprise plans with different limits on chambers, assistants, patients, prescriptions, and saved prescription pad layouts. These limits are enforced, not just advertised. If your subscription lapses, further writes are blocked after a two-month grace period; existing data stays readable and nothing is deleted, and full access resumes immediately on resubscribing.
Payments
Subscription and SMS-credit payments are processed through bKash. See our Refund Policy for how payments are handled once made.
Prescription links
A prescription you write generates a shareable link a patient can open without logging in. You’re responsible for sending that link only to the patient it belongs to; anyone holding the link can view it.
Availability
We aim to keep Med Assist available and responsive, but like any hosted service it can have downtime, maintenance windows, or service interruptions from our infrastructure or third-party providers (SMS gateway, bKash, hosting). We’ll try to give notice for planned maintenance where practical.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend an account that violates these terms, misuses patient data, or attempts to compromise the platform. You can stop using Med Assist at any time; your data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
If we make a material change to these terms, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh.
